Our Story.
STUDIO Curiosity is a team formed in Japan, born from the dream of NAOKI and TAKA to work together in activities that maximize their curiosity and creativity.
They first met when they were both in separate bands and were featured on the same page of a PUNK magazine called DOLL, both on the top and bottom of the same page . The cover at that time was Rancid, and I remember feeling very shocked, excited, and happy.
NAOKI graduated from a design school when he was a teenager and has had a passion for music and design ever since.
TAKA has been involved in music since his high school days, and in his 20's, he formed a band (Backward Region) and has been active for 12 years, designing everything with NAOKI from the middle of the band.
Through many collaborations, the project STUDIO Curiosity was born out of a desire between the two to someday work together on various creative activities for the whole world.

Role…Lead Designer Responsibility…Various designs (logos, T-shirts, merchandise, business cards, posters, flyers, etc.) Career… ・Born in Tokushima Prefecture, Japan ・Graduated from a design school in 2003. ・More than 20 years of design experience. ・loves music and has been playing in bands since he was a teenager. Achievements… ・Over 1000 works, including T-shirt designs for TV shows, music festivals, fashion brands, aquariums, etc. ・Artist Design: CD jackets and other merchandise design for bands on Columbia Records label (No Big Deal Records) and other artists in Japan. ・Awards: Winner of numerous awards, including a prize at the Tokushima Prefecture Art Exhibition, publication in WARP Magazine, and numerous first places in the HOIMI design rankings. ・Notes: ・Cooperation in the production of "WE GO" release event commemorative goods T-shirts for Hiro Shimono, well known as the voice actor for Zenitsu Wagatsuma in the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” Destruction. ・Designed the jacket for the theme song of the anime "Shokugeki no Soma”. ・Designed several items for the fashion brand "Roen”. ・Taisuke Niihara wore a T-shirt designed by NAOKI in a TV Tokyo drama program. TAKA
Role…Director/Producer Responsibility…Direction/Management Career… ・Born in Okayama Prefecture, Japan. ・In 17 years of band experience (Gu/Vo) since high school, I have been involved in songwriting, website and video production, management, design and direction. ・After the band's hiatus in 2019, I worked as a short video creator and VYOND animation creator. Then, I served as the general director of a YouTube VYOND Anime channel for two and a half years, followed by managing manga-related YouTube channels and working as an anime creator. I also lead NFT projects and engage in business marketing and consulting. Achievements… ・Video Production & Direction : Produced and directed over 2,000 short videos, VYOND Animation videos, and manga videos, many of which have over 500,000 views on YouTube. ・Band Activities : The EP released in 2011 was No. 3 on the weekly chart at all TOWER RECORDS stores, over 300 live performances, multiple times ranked No. 1 on the monthly and weekly viewing rankings on the viewing site Audioreaf (page deleted before the show went on hiatus), CD release from the major distributor Media Factory, multiple national tours, and numerous collaborations with domestic and international bands. Toured Japan many times, and performed with many domestic and international bands. (Four Year Strong, Story So Far, Neck Deep, etc.). ・YouTube channel management : Posted daily for over 2 years, achieving a total of over $30 million in revenue per channel in approximately 2 years. Monetized multiple channels with less than 5 video posts each (within 2 weeks). Over 1,000 total posts. ・Management of video production team : Structuring all sections, creating manuals, team management (more than 20 staff at any given time), and recruiting & training personnel for more than 3 years.
